Common low-voltage distribution cabinet production and construction technical requirements:

The following are some common low-voltage distribution cabinet production and construction technical requirements:

1. Cabinet structure

- The cabinet should be made of high-quality metal materials (such as cold-rolled steel sheets) with sufficient strength and stiffness to withstand the weight of the internal equipment and external mechanical stresses.

- The protection level of the cabinet should meet the requirements of the use environment, usually not less than IP30.

- The cabinet shall adopt standardized design, size and layout shall comply with relevant standards and specifications.

2. Install electrical components

- Electrical components (such as circuit breakers, contactors, relays, etc.) should be installed in accordance with the design drawings and technical specifications, and the installation position should be accurate and fixed firmly.

- The connection between the components should be reliable, the wiring should be neat and beautiful, and the cross-sectional area of the wire should meet the requirements of the current capacity.

- Electrical clearance and creepage distance shall comply with relevant standards to ensure electrical safety.

3. Bus system

- The bus bar should be selected with high conductivity copper or aluminum bars, and its cross section should be calculated according to the rated current and short circuit current.

- The connection of the bus bar should be bolted or welded, and the connection should ensure good electrical conductivity and contact pressure.

- The bus should be insulated to prevent short circuit and electric shock accidents.

4. Ground the system

- The cabinet should be equipped with a reliable grounding device, and the grounding resistance should meet relevant standards.

- Open components such as cabinet doors and side panels should be securely connected to the ground bus of the cabinet through flexible conductors.

Step 5: Wiring

- The secondary control wire should be multi-strand soft copper wire, the wiring should follow the principle of horizontal and vertical, and be tied neatly.

- The label of the line should be clear, accurate, and easy to maintain and overhaul.

6. Logo and nameplate

- The front and back of the PDC should be clearly marked with equipment number, name, purpose, etc.

- Electrical components should be marked with their model, specifications, parameters and other information.

- A nameplate should be installed on the cabinet, indicating the type, specifications, rated voltage, rated current and other major technical parameters of the power distribution cabinet.

7. Inspection and testing

- After the production is completed, the appearance inspection should be carried out to ensure that the cabinet is not deformed, damaged, and the coating is intact.

- Perform electrical performance test, including insulation resistance test, voltage resistance test, ground resistance test, etc., to ensure that the electrical performance meets the requirements.

- Conduct action tests on operating mechanisms and protection devices to verify their reliability and accuracy.

8. Packaging and transportation

- The power distribution cabinet should be properly packed before transportation to prevent damage during transportation.

- Packaging should meet the requirements of transportation and storage, with moisture, shock, rust and other functions.

The above is only some of the basic technical requirements of low-voltage distribution cabinet construction, the specific requirements may vary due to different projects and use scenarios, in the actual construction process, should be strictly in accordance with the relevant standards, specifications and design documents to operate.
