Vietnam distribution cabinet installation how do we do?

To install a PDC in Vietnam, please refer to the following general installation steps and points:

Preparation for construction:

Technical preparation:

Be familiar with the construction drawings, understand the design intent, technical requirements and relevant electrical codes and standards to ensure that the installation process complies with local electrical regulations and technical standards in Vietnam. If you have any questions about the drawings, you should communicate with the design unit in time.

Make detailed construction plan and construction schedule, and reasonably arrange the entry time of construction personnel, equipment and materials.

Material preparation:

According to the design requirements and construction drawings, materials and accessories such as the PDC, basic steel, bus bar, cables, wires, bolts, nuts, and gaskets have been prepared. All materials should have quality certification documents, their specifications, models, performance, etc. should meet the design requirements.

Inspect and accept the incoming materials to check whether their appearance is damaged, deformed, rust and other defects, and whether the electrical performance meets the requirements. The unqualified materials should be returned or dealt with in time.

Site preparation:

The installation site should have construction conditions, including smooth site, smooth road, good lighting and so on. If the installation is indoors, ensure that the indoor civil engineering has been completed, and the walls, floors, and ceilings meet the installation requirements.

Clean up the debris and dust at the installation site and keep the site clean. Set up temporary power and lighting facilities near the installation location for construction personnel to operate.

Foundation installation:

Measurement pay-off: According to the requirements of the construction drawings, the measurement pay-off is carried out at the installation position to determine the installation position and elevation of the foundation steel. Use level, theodolite and other measuring tools to ensure the accuracy of the measurement.

Section steel processing: The purchased section steel is processed according to the design requirements, including cutting, welding, straightening and other processes. The shaped steel after processing should meet the size requirements, the surface is flat, and there are no burrs, deformation and other defects.

Foundation fixing: Install the processed foundation steel on the reserved foundation position, and use a level or level to level and align. In the leveling process, gaskets can be used to adjust, but the number of gaskets should not exceed three pieces. Then, the basic steel and the embedded iron parts or anchor bolts are welded and fixed, and the welding is firm and the weld is full.

Distribution cabinet installation:

Equipment transportation: According to the weight, size and transportation distance of the distribution cabinet, choose the appropriate transportation mode, such as car transportation, forklift transportation or human handling. During transportation, pay attention to protect the appearance and internal equipment of the PDC to avoid collision, extrusion, and moisture.

Position the cabinet: Slowly place the PDC on the base steel in the position and direction required by the design. In the process of positioning, attention should be paid to avoid collision between the cabinet and the base steel, while ensuring the perpendicularity and levelness of the cabinet.

Fixed connection: Use bolts to fix the PDC to the base steel. The specifications, model, and number of bolts must meet the design requirements. Tighten bolts in a diagonal sequence to ensure that the cabinet is securely installed.

Bus installation:

Bus selection: According to the rated current and voltage level of the distribution cabinet, select the appropriate bus specifications and models. The material of the bus is generally copper or aluminum, and its cross section area should meet the requirements of the carrying capacity.

Busbar processing: busbar processing, including cutting, bending, drilling and other processes. The busbar after processing should meet the size requirements, smooth surface, no burrs, deformation and other defects.

Busbar connection: Connect the busbars in the order and manner required by the design. The connecting parts should be tightly fitted, and the bolt tightening torque should meet the requirements. During the connection process, attention should be paid to maintaining the insulation performance of the bus bars to avoid short circuit between the bus bars.

Secondary circuit wiring:

Mark the wire number: Mark the wire number of the secondary loop according to the construction drawings. The mark should be clear, accurate, and firm to facilitate subsequent commissioning and maintenance.

Wiring operation: According to the design requirements and schematic diagram, connect the wire to the electrical components in the distribution cabinet. The wiring should be firm and reliable to avoid loosening and poor contact. For multi-strand wires, tinning should be carried out to improve electrical conductivity.

Line check: After the wiring is complete, check the line of the secondary loop to check whether the connection of the line is correct, whether there is a short circuit, open circuit and other faults. You can use a multimeter and other tools to test.

Commissioning and acceptance:

Commissioning preparations: Before commissioning, check whether the devices and circuits in the PDC have been installed and meet the design requirements. At the same time, the tools, instruments and equipment required for debugging should be prepared, such as megohm meters, multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.

Function debugging: According to the design requirements and debugging outline, the functions of the distribution cabinet are debugging, including electrical performance, protection function, control function, etc. During the debugging process, the debugging data and results should be recorded for subsequent analysis and processing.

Acceptance delivery: After the completion of commissioning, relevant personnel should be organized to carry out acceptance. The acceptance includes the installation quality, electrical performance, and function realization of the PDC. After passing the acceptance check, the acceptance check procedure shall be completed and the PDC shall be delivered to the user.

During the entire installation process, attention should also be paid to safety issues and compliance with local safety regulations and construction codes in Vietnam to ensure the personal safety of construction personnel and the safe operation of equipment. If you are not familiar with electrical regulations and standards in Vietnam, it is recommended to consult local professional bodies or relevant departments for accurate information and guidance.
