Design of low voltage distributor distribution system
In production facilities, low-voltage distributors are usually combined with MCC switchgear to centrally control the machine room. These prefabricated switches and switchboards must comply with the regulations of the single, and although the regulations impose requirements on the design of the distribution system, there are still many possibilities for engineers to apply their ideas to functionality and distribution.
The design of the distribution system determines the physical isolation of different current-carrying components. In addition to size and flexibility for current use and future adaptation, the design will also determine the safety of electricians when performing maintenance and extension work.
The engineer ensures that the safety requirements of the mechanic are met. Standing compartments ensure isolation of live parts. All output and feed components can be separated from each other and from the rail system.
The low-voltage switchboard is connected to the main switchboard through a power supply cable or a busbar slot. The pre-protection and laying method of the cable mainly determines the choice of cable diameter and cable type.
